Beware of Suspicious Emails That May be Malware or Phishing Attacks

Clearent has been made aware of people who received “purchase confirmation” emails that link to a malicious site that portrays itself as Clearent. This email did not come from Clearent, and the website is not affiliated with Clearent. This site prompts you to click on a “Manage Order” link.

Please do not click on this link as it could install malicious software (called malware) or spyware on your computer.

Many criminals are using email scams to install malware on computers or to obtain financial information that can be used to steal from you. Please be cautious when you receive emails from unfamiliar sources.

It is critical that if you receive emails which don’t seem quite right that you do not click on the links!
