Today Clearent released the results of its credit card processing business, showing that it has once again grown by more than 100 percent. This marks the fourth straight year of Clearent’s triple-digit growth rates, making it one of the fastest growing processors in the industry, reaching $2 billion in annualized transaction volume. The company’s merchant portfolio has also experienced rapid gains, as the company now has more than 12,000 merchant processing accounts.

Please do not click on this link as it could install malicious software (called malware) or spyware on your computer.
Many criminals are using email scams to install malware on computers or to obtain financial information that can be used to steal from you. Please be cautious when you receive emails from unfamiliar sources.

Today Clearent announced that it appointed Brooks Terrell to its Board of Directors. As the former Chief Technology Officer of Heartland Payment Systems, Brooks led the development of the company’s front-end and back-end payment platforms for processing credit card payments. Today Clearent announced that 2011 is on pace as another record setting year for its credit card processing services. During the second quarter, the company maintained its triple digit growth rates and achieved $1.5 billion in annualized transaction volume.
This rapid growth has been fueled by the continued success of Clearent’s existing Independent Sales Organization (ISO) partners as well as new sales offices that have chosen Clearent to be their payment processor. In the second quarter alone, 22 new ISOs partnered with Clearent for credit card processing services.

Today Clearent released its new Express Merchant Funding service, which provides next-day funding to merchants for credit and debit card processing. Express Merchant Funding offers the ability for merchants to get their daily deposit one day earlier than the standard funding cycle, which provides a crucial cash flow benefit for merchants.
Clearent’s Express Merchant Funding has a cut-off time of 9:00 p.m. Eastern (8:00 p.m. Central), which is hours later than most other processors, and does not require merchants to use any particular bank. Express Merchant Funding is powered by the company’s proprietary back-end processing platform, which sets it apart from the competition by delivering flexible merchant pricing options, fast merchant boarding, and graphical portfolio analytics.

Clearent proudly announced the latest addition to its team today, appointing Carrie Notheis as Director of Business Development. Carrie will focus on building relationships for Clearent in the St. Louis area, where Clearent and Carrie are based.
Carrie comes to Clearent with more than 15 years of experience in the merchant services industry. Carrie spent nine years at Heartland Payment Systems, where she was the company’s #1 sales representative in the nation for the past three years. She also successfully led sales teams at the local and regional levels, breaking company records in the process. Prior to Heartland, Carrie trained and supported merchants at First Data and Wells Fargo Bank.
